I saw The Great Gatsby today - terrific film, in my opinion. The cinematography was gorgeous, though a large part in 3D.

The purist in me is kind of nostalgic for the days of huge set design, perfect lighting, location scouting, special effect work, etc. Nowadays, all that is done in CGI. While it makes for better cinema, part of me misses the old way of doing things.

But, entertaining nevertheless. I recommend it if you haven't seen it already.
